I merged your report with one from last year. If you get logged out, it's because your browser reports it doesn't have a session cookie. Why it doesn't is another question. Some browsers, notably for smartphones, discard cookies as soon as you close the last window.

Re-logging in seems to be a daily situation now. HB is the only forum I peruse that has such an issue. FWIW using Safari 10.1 and iOS 10.3.1.

Maybe you are clearing your entire Internet cache automatically. I am never logged out unexpectedly. I have a program on my desktop computer that manages cookies, and home-barista.com is always saved even when I clear the Microsoft Edge cache. On my iPhone using Safari, if I clear the browsing history then I have to log back in the next time, but it doesn't happen by itself.

Neither "here nor there" but HB is the only forum that behaves accordingly using the same hardware & Safari. Not a big deal just curious how many other folks experience similar.

I have noticed that Chrome generally works best for this site. Among the Mac browser alternatives I've tried (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Tor), Safari is the most problematic.

Dan, strictly anecdotally, Opera works best for me. Chrome has me signing in again, repeatedly. Opera keeps me "in."

True for me but with Safari on iPhone and has been true for months. Just a data point.

Chrome on my iPhone logs me out daily. I will try Safari.
