As long-time members may have noticed, Chris Tacy's login (malachi) was listed on two forums for the last few months. One of the site's strengths is the unique talents each of the lead baristas bring to HB. This uniqueness is reflected in the attribution of a forum to an individual. It is thus with great pleasure that I announce David Stephens has agreed to join Team HB as lead barista for the Barista Tips & Techniques forum.

Dave joined HB in May last year and contributed a winning entry to SwagFest 2005. He frequently offers insightful diagnostic advice and shares ongoing projects like his Faema restoration. I'm certain many, like me, appreciate his contributions, and admire his skills and knowledge. Thank you Dave for all you've done to help others on their journey to better espresso.
