Can't participate in polls

Some polls (and perhaps other links, not sure) that show up in the Announcements box on the Index page link to the homepage for this site. I'm logged in and everything, but the poll is nowhere to be found. Known problem or am I doing something wrong? As an example, the current poll on cupping does not work for me.

Strange... you refer to the poll on the home page (upper left corner), right? It's an external poll service. Here's the same poll directly in a post:
    Ever participate in a coffee cupping? (click choice below)
    Yes
    No
Do you have pop-ups blocked?

Man, I'm such an eeediott! I never realized that the polls were on the home page. I was talking about clicking on them from the "Announcements" box on the Index page. Seems like it's worked for me before, but not every time. Thanks!
