They just unscrew but they are on with thread locking compound. Do a search on the site for portafilter handle remove and you will get several threads on the subject.

Pretty easy. In fact so easy a caveman can do it. Seriously though if you google changing Londinium PF handle or something like that you'll see a you tube video link with Reiss demonstrating removal. Use a hair dryer on high 6 minutes per side on the metal and use an Allen wrench either 14 or 15mm and you are good to go. Use caution the metal gets hot.

Also just wanted to thank Dave for his patience and craftsmanship. About 200 emails later and switching my mind a hundred times I'm going to receive the Salvatore cocobolo set you see pictured. Can't wait to install. It's worth the wait and Dave is a pleasure to work with.

Some cocobolo parts in an oil finish for a Creminia, portafilter basket holder and handles for a HG1 grinder and a redo on a lever handle that was not quite right.
