Dave, your work is impeccable. Do you ever work with maple burl? I'm looking to get a set of handles and knobs for my pre-millennium Europiccola. Do you have a website to order through?

Gabon Ebony for a LaPavoni Stradivari. This stuff is difficult to put a gloss finish on, any little speck of dust shows in the finish.

dave - glad to see your still turning wood! I have some of your earlier work that I absolutely cherish and still looks fantastic on my machine. I can post some pics of the wood and how it's held up if there is interest.

Thanks Dave.
Here are a few images. The handles size wise is much better than the LPs and so is the fit.
Appearance wise the handles makes the LP-S more substantial. The bakelite pieces they replace are puny in comparison.

Cremina lever, portafilter and steam knob with a matching handle set for a HG1 hand grinder and a portafilter basket holder for the grinder all in cocobolo with an oil finish. The two left handles are fresher and have not turned deep red yet.

Jake_taylor I have an office lever and was wondering how difficult it is to change the portafilter handle? Any tricks needed? Thanks.
