How do people contact you? I sent a PM quite a while back but didn't hear back. Is direct email better?
Thanks

I do not get to PM's very often and being a moderator they fill up fast. My email is in the first post of the thread and a few more throughout the 104 pages.

Hey guys,
Here are the final results for my vintage Elektra. Macassar Ebony wood from Dave, custom drip grill, new seals and some new internals, newish rotary pump, IMS basket and Eureka Mignon grinder. I am loving this set up! The grain on my wood set is quite unique and in my opinion looks incredible and matches my cabinets.
Honestly Dave's work and attention to detail is incredible and rare. My handles for water and steam are not conventional and one of a kind since this model of Elektra is old and rare, the fit, look and size is exactly what I requested. If your on the fence about this, it's worth it.

Bruno,
Wow, that is a beautiful looking machine, and the new wooden handles look amazing too. Congratulations on getting them.

I cannot abstain from comment here.
Exactly my choice of finish and wood, I'm since time back on the (rightfully!) long wait list. Your machine (classic, vintage) is a dream come true. Dave's work is stunning paired to that machine. Rotary pump ! Bellissima.
Where did you get that amazing bespoke chrome drip grill?

Thank you all for the positive comments! The machine had come a long way during the restoration. My wait time was about 8 months but well worth it!
Grill is from acumetalfab in the USA, excellent work and well priced too. They are probably the best place I've seen for a custom sized grill, way cheaper than oem and made in the USA. The original drip grill was a cheapo chromed (which came off) beige plastic

Dave, the red oak cold drip brewer is just fantastic. Did you learn woodworking from someone in your family? Also, I love that you have an entire countertop, without the hindrance of cabinets overhead, dedicated to coffee. I may have to rethink turning my stovetop island into a coffee bar!
