Hi Dave,
I sent you an email about getting some wood handles and levers made for my San Marco Leva restoration.
Thanks,
Jason

Dad wanted to see how I did the pins in my knife's so I made one to show him. Turned out nice. Ironwood burl handle, mosaic pins, buffed the blade to a near mirror shine and finished it in catalyzed urethane for a super high gloss finish. Razor sharp little guy. Not sure what I am going to do with it. If anyone is interested in it let me know. I am not above selling it.

I don't recognize the shape of that portafilter. What brand/type portafilter is that?

The photo shows him putting it into a LM. The custom shop is well known for making interesting modifications for GS3's and customizing Robur grinders and such with pin striping, new paint, etc.

Hi. Curtis.

This portafilter is based on a LM style. But slightly longer than original handle.
It's well-made stuff and have impressive look'n feel. Especially, engraved marks are quite useful to handgrip.
Material's a walnut and it also fit to e61 grouphead.

Pretty cool. You can do lots of things with a laser engraver and CNC milling machine. Kind of takes the artisan portion out of the work when a computer does it all but you can get some cool stuff.
