Use the power of your steam wand to clean. This brush is like a typical grouphead brush, minus the fact that it utilizes your steam power to assist in cleaning.
We have never seen a cleaning utensil that has worked so great. The steam exiting the top of the brush is more than powerful enough to clean your grouphead as well as blast away any coffee stains on your machine or counter.

I have the black tamper shown sitting besides that fabulous pink one. I like it, had an Expressivo earlier but let that go when I exchanged my Silvia for a La Pavoni. Mine has the curved bottom. The short handle makes it easier for me to have control (the lieutenant that trained me for my military service as a minediver in the swedish marines told me I had girly fingers  )

That steam wand cleaning thing seemed lika good idea as well!

Since there is a brush on the end of the wand, I would say no. Although, if the brush unscrews and uses the same size fitting as a steam tip, you could retrofit it. That would make an interesting solution to the machines with the stubby little 'froth aid' steam wands. Pull off the outer sleeve and stick this over it.

Here's a pic with the bristles removed. They slide in and out of the "tip" on the brush, held in only by friction.
It WILL steam a pitcher of milk, but the thread size does not match any normal steam tips we carry.Image

I would love to order the steam wand but wonder if you offer replacement tips? I would think they would need replacement at some point?

Maybe a special for HB members? Buy the wand and get a couple of replacement tips at no additional charge!!!

The wand is packaged currently with 2 tips. We are still using our first tip 6 months later. On our next order, we will have replacement tips.

Just to note, HB is not always about discounts. It is also about being the first to know and sponsorship (providing items for testing as well as offering items for HB giveaways).

Thanks! I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get replacement tips. Now that you've cleared up the replacement tip situation, I don't have any reservations ordering! After watching you clean up tables etc.. I figured the tip was in for some serious abuse!!

I think with that kind of power, you might lose a few diamonds.

are there both convex and flat bases?
