350W 110V on the current ones.

As for the 220V. I will check and see what I can do.

gyro,

I can special order the 220V if a few are ordered - 3 or more -- or I can't justify the shipping and customs fees (so gather friends and colleagues who want some).

The manufacturer is away for the week for Holiday (New Year), but PM me and let me know what your needs are.

I have someone in the UK asking... give it a little time. It looks very likely.

Can you or anyone please give an uninformed brewer the 411 on one of these units. They look well built, and I've thought of going to a vac pot for drip, but that's quite a chunk of change for a thing that heats water. It costs as much as my Technivorm.

Tom, you can certainly jump into vacpot inexpensively. Several online retailers offer Yama pots; the stovetop models are cheaper, but I imagine that if your stovetop is electric/radiant, it will be a bit tougher to control heat. This being the case, a butane (cheaper) or halogen (more expensive) burner is the way to go, but either way you have an additional fuel cost in either butane or replacement bulbs & electricity.

FWIW I have a Yama 8-cup stovetop model and use it almost daily, but my range top is gas. Perhaps these heaters + a 3-cup would be an ideal office solution?

Thank you Sherman.

Yes, I'm unfortunately cursed with an electric range. I don't mind paying for quality, since it usually lasts longer and works better. Im just hoping that's the case here.

Id imagine I'd still use a kettle to preheat the brew water or maybe it would be simpler to just use my hot water tap off the Duetto, which will give me more chances to use and flush water thru it. I only hesitate out if curiosity if the results in the cup are going to end up the same as the Technivorm that is already sitting there.

Those antique vacuum devices look appealing too.
