"That is the pstat that is used on the La Pavoni Eurobar a leva"

here is a single element europiccola with the same pressure stat..weird.

cant seem to get the pressure stat to work, might just order a double switch and wire it as a double element europiccola and with my bar dial can keep an eye on pressure. But since i got a bigger 16 boiler not the 8 not sure if it will work this way..?!? anyone know?

thanks

unless it has 2 elements you cna't wire it as a 2 unit. From what i know the p stat pavs have a single element and the p stat turns it on and off. You could wire it with one switch and do the switching yourself., ie turn it on 'til the pressure is up, turn it off make coffee turn it on steam milk etc...I have the 2 element old style pav and it works just fine. Seems from your previous post that you are maybe a little new to wiring circuits etc.... element just needs to be checked for continuity, the p stat is really the same thing, low temp= continuity, high temp no continuity. You blew the fuse completing a hot circuit in the continuity/resistance mode. Test for continuity with the power off and with each switch/whatever disconnected from wiring. You can also do this with the unit plugged in, but use the voltage check on the MM and do not give yourself a shock, Work carefully and consider doing this with power from a gfci protected circuit. If none of this makes sense git yerself sum larning on de interweb.
