Victoria Arduino Athena lever Saw this a few days too late. Emailed a few days after listing and it was sold. Since the ads still up I thought I'd post and ask if anyone knows where it now lives. Was it as good of a steal as it seemed?

Wasn't me either. I just missed a copper La San Marco two group lever by a couple days too. You're right, DoubleO, those would have been perfect in the cafe.

I look on westernmass all of the time. Ive never seen any decently priiced commercial lever.

I search craigslist regularly and never saw this. What terms or methods are yall using to find these gems?

This is my local CL, The Victoria was about 35miles away, generally krupsville offerings here too.

Too big anyway Ed. Not sustainable to keep all that water hot to pull 2 oz of it through a few grams of ground coffee every few hours. If you can find a one-group with a small enough boiler you'd be ok. I speak from experience - I have a 2-group Rancilio Z-11 (not lever) sitting on the bench, but I can't really justify refurbishing it unless I want to heat the garage with the massive boiler (not a bad idea, if it were only a lever). Since I have the Sama back up and running I've lost the motivation however.

But I thought you had a Bezzera Family on the bench? Between that and the Cremina you'll have the meanest 2-group that side of Turner Falls anyway!

Your absolutely right, way too big for me. The Cremina and MCal are my full spectrum 2 group. Still deciding on whether to keep the Bezzera or Maxi for party time. But I'd have one hell of alot of fun refurbishing that beauty. Then I'd try to get it into a shop in the area(LMWDP). We have a 2group lever in a shop in my next town.
