I can't find it anywhere online after a cursory search, Henry. But as I've heard it told, it goes like this:

{Benjamin Disraeli|Winston Churchill} engaged in after-dinner conversation with an elegant and beautiful woman seated next to him. Let's say it was Churchill....
Madam, would you make love with me for all the oil in the Middle East?
--Why, Sir, for all the wealth in those kingdoms .... perhaps I should say yes.
Madam, would you do it for a pound?
--Why, Sir, what do you take me for, a common harlot?
Madam, we have already established that fact. Now we're haggling over the price.
An old joke. Maybe had its origins in a British gentleman's club? I imagine it's funnier with clouds of cigar smoke and an empty bottle of Director's Bin.

Regards
Timo

I love the lever for the quiet, for the absolute breath-taking beauty of the thing, and for the intense frustration which it provides when life is too calm. When I want a big enough shot to share with my husband, I'm afraid I have to go to the pump machine. But for a perfect little taste, nothing beats the Brass Beauty.
