What did I do? (La Pavoni Pro) - Page 2

Congratulations!

I have an identical Pavoni to yours and since I first read this post, I have been afraid refilling it before it is totally cold. Now this is great news, knowing that is was not broken by cold water.

Having a working Pavoni should be everybody's right. I feel very glad for you. :)

The good news is it works a lot better since coming back from the shop. The insides looked clean when I bought it, but apparently it had some calcification build up, now with that removed I've been able to go much finer on my grind and get even better shots!

This morning I had an extra because the first was so good!

I do have another question, if anybody knows... regarding adjusting the pressurestat. Does rotating the collar as shown increase or decrease pressure?

The posts I've found are pretty vague and only cover how to not break it! Mine is not glued down, it turns freely. My machine currently settles in around .8bar, I'm thinking maybe that's just a bit low... so which way to adjust?

Thanks in advance....
