i've got mine on brass points to reduce vibration- makes the pull a bit tricky but oh so worth it.

My experience with the OFHC copper is to skip using it in the tubes. I just can't taste the difference. But if you make yourself a new power cord out of the stuff, the resulting transparency really leaps out of the cup and if you close your eyes it will image a farm in Kenya, with L-R boundaries going all along the counter from the refrigerator to the sink. Stunning.

Watch out for phasing though - if you reverse absolute polarity the coffee berries look faded somehow, more toward a pinkish orange.
