VST baskets for lever espresso machines?

Postby Rick P on Thu Jan 19, 2012 8:32 pm

Do you think there will ever be vst baskets for lever machines? Would they even be a desirable item?
What, if any, would be the benefit of having them for lever machine users?

Thanks for your answers in advance. I apologize if this topic has been discussed already.

Best to you

I have six baskets and the build quality differs a lot. Only for this reason, it could already be interesting.

They mostly came with the machines. When I really like something, I find it really hard buying just one. You know, to compare and have spares and such (I tell myself). My favorite two have a p engraved (don't know why) and weigh exactly the same, which is nice when dosing the basket. Also, the holes are more regular than on the others and the metal is different than newer ones.
Getting multiple baskets was a big leap forward. Much less hassle and burnt fingers! So yes, the vst sound good. You know, to compare...

I emailed them (VST) today to inquire if there would ever be a 49mm basket in the works.
