They don't do castings like that anymore :)

Beautiful layout, very reminiscent of the Conti Prestina. Single or dual spring?

Dual spring. But that long neck and bunny tail.... proves the adage that they don't make em like this anymore.

I have a twin lever of the same era....

All stripped down, new parts obtained, including springs etc; just need to make the time to re build.

obviously nearing completion of a restore, there's no way that's factory wiring - it's neat and properly retained!

I always looked at the aluminium casting that houses the springs with some trepidation. It is rather excitingly thin in places, compared to the sheer bulk of the rest of the group.

I love how Cimbali uses a certain style in all their machines, it looks like they have used that group bell in most machines.

My M20 group is super stable on temperature, pity it needs the support from the front panel, i would love to show the group off.

Have fun Doug, keen to see more pics when you get a chance.

Wow Doug, thats stunning, its an Eleva right? I have one of these on the way to me too, would love to hear any info you have on seals, springs etc. Are you going to run off a pstat, or keep the original 4 position switch and relief valve?
Seems a shame they have such a boxy frame and group cover hiding such a beauty underneath!
