Testing seals of Olympia Cremina

Postby nmalnati on Thu Aug 14, 2008 1:23 pm

Having acquired a cremina a few months ago, I would verify that the seals are working on the gaskets. Fill up the tank, fire the boiler up and try making a few shots. Shut the machine off. After about 20min I find that the handle floats partially back up. I was once told that means the gaskets are in working order.

If you didn't mess with the brew pressure then you may need to de-scale. That's about all if the machine had limited use.

Damp, clean wet rag to regularly wipe down the machine.
