I've been pulling some tasty shots with my La Pavoni. However, I've noticed that with a double basket I only get about 1oz with a single pull. I hold the lever up for 10-12 seconds to pre-infuse and then start my pull. The lever moves 1/3 of the way or so before I feel the correct amount of resistance. Continuing the pull to the bottom yields the pictured amount. Pull feels and looks good. Does that sound about right volumewise? Do people do a kind of "double pull" in order to yield 1.5-2oz per double basket?

I believe the pump chamber holds about 1.5 oz of water, so 1/2 oz is absorbed by the puck. The instructional video shows the "double pump" technique in pulling a double (in volume). I personally don't do that because it adversely affects the taste for me.
