Riviera lever rebuild - Page 2

I have come up with the initial concept of the new base for the Riviera.

The PID has two set points so I can set one for Espresso and one for steam. Water is fed into the boiler by a pressure regulator hooked up to mains pressure. There will be a solenoid valve that will shut off the water supply when steam is being made. With mains water the boiler can be cooled quickly back down to Espresso temperature.

From what I have seen on other machines this appears to be a good approach.

Did you ever find gaskets for your Riviera? I would love to go in with someone on purchasing a set. If you haven't gotten them yet let me know.

Yes, the screen fits over the end of the cylinder.
