Hey guys I sold the '86 to a fine fella out San Francisco way... I will miss it but with the 'C' Lever it was just sitting their looking pretty. I still have the original '67 that is needed at office and on special occasions at the house.

I still derive a great sense of satisfaction from my Cremina everyday. I was just expressing this to a friend over at the house last night.,

I let her hold the tamper, and ,measuring spoon and Espressme NEWD Portlafilter with bubble handles...SHe marveled at how wonderful and organic they felt in her hands..

They still are absolutely wonderful and some of my favorite things in the world!!!

Hey Greg... You old timer! Thanks for the reply. Ya I love the feel of that handle in my hand too!... Will be up in Seattle for some business and pleasure... Kids are up there. Hoping to hit the coffee houses in my free time.

Bob Pm me on what dates you are up there- I won't assume that you would have any extra time- but iam in Seattle so much now adays - that it would be great to add you to the host of HB'ers I have had the priveldge to meet in person...

I think I have shook hands with about 8 people so far...I am still as serious about espresso as I ever was...I have a Pasquini Livietta on the shop bench and an extra Astra Gourmet sitting on the floor underneath it.. just in case I get bored..

I am starting my self taught apprenticeship on a Atlas 618 lath I acquired, so I can make some metal thingts like you and Richard!!

Perhaps the next great 'C' (Custom) Lever will be produced up in the great Northwest! There are a number of old machinist manuals and guides that were written during the mid 20th century that can be of great assistance to your new "Hobby"... Enjoy the adventure (Rabbit Hole... it is a deep one.)
