Looks like it came with the machine, eh?

Close-up. It is a bit too dark in my espresso corner for night photos, as usual.

Must say this really looks nice with the black/stainless bez.

The LMWDP with a 58mm base fits fine in this particular Bezzera portafilter basket. With reservation for this being a first night test only, I would say all in all the Compressore equals Xpressivo Presso Barista, my other tamper, which by the way is a great tamper too.
Did I mention the LMWDP Compressore is a stunner? ;)

The beginning and ending shots of a "Triple" double with my new favorite tamper!

I like the composition of the photo below. Dave's idea to add the logo on the bezel is a nice touch. With the Lever Smackdown in progress and now your photo, I'm thinking about commercial lever gear for Lever Smackdown II: The Revenge.

It sure is beautiful! How much would one of these set me back, and would you be willing to do a non-LMWDP version?

Thanks

Sure, a non-LMWDP version is available. That's the "Barismo Spec" EC/EP Hybrid Tamp with optional "flame" graphic.

I'm saving up for mine, with hopes of an early December purchase! I've had a few chats with her, trying to get a feel for her preferences, printing a few pictures, nothing too far overboard.

But chrome at timberline's boundary, well, and it's ornamentation to boot?

It's complicated.

I wouldn't have it any other way.

Thanks! :-)
Sounds like a good idea, and a tough challenge for the participants. My picture automatically volunteers to participate (it likes what I like, and that's the way I like it).
Edit: ohh, I thought you meant another lever smackdown impostor thread. Of course you didn't.
Yes, a smackdown thread for commercial lever gear would be a really good idea, and if/when it becomes reality, the Bez ladies will demand attention. They won't let themselves be put aside.

Just a bump to suggest this may be a nice gift idea:

I'm thinking about getting one for the new lever, in a 51mm. Rumour has it that the flames and such are out of the question on a 51mm. Should I just go right to the EPNW site to order it, or is there some special ritual/path I need to follow to get my secret decoder ring and LMWDP number on it?
