Personalized LMWDP tampers - Page 11

Postby r-gordon-7 on Sun Jan 18, 2009 4:44 pm

And, as long as this old thread has been resurrected, two additional questions...

1. As nice as these tampers are with the distinctive and familiar HB logo, are they now or were they ever available with the slightly modified HB logo as suggested in this thread (page 2) by espressoperson on September 21, 2007, which appropriately modifies the regular HB logo to turn the cross bar in the "H" into a lever & handle? Image

2.OK, I'm probably missing something extremely obvious, but when I follow the link to the espressoparts.com order page (http://www.espressoparts.com/product/HB_LMWDP_COMP/HomeBaristacoms_Lever_Machine_World_Domination_Plot__Black_Compressore__LTD_EDITION.html), although I see the "LMWDP Custom Size Option" for selecting the "tenths of a mm" fine tuning option, how does one select the basic base size - e.g. 51mm vs 49mm, etc.?

Thanks,

No and no.

That's odd. I entered it in the comment field. That said, if you're seriously interested, it's worth dropping Dave White at espressoparts.com an e-mail (davew@...) to check on availability. Shouldn't be a problem since they do custom work all the time, but never hurts to ask.

BTW, Dave if you're reading this, do you still have the #002 tamper shown in the photo (my LMWDP #)? :D
