I had to send my pf handle to Les at Thor Tampers so he could finish my new handles. At first I foolishly thought i could use just the pf w/out any handle. Then I tried just a carriage bolt. Finally came up with a workable solution. I learned much about the mechanics of the leverage needed on the pf in this process.

If you are interested Les promises to start selling handles made out of "Spanish Cork Oak Bark" unfinished. Branding extra.

Amusement indeed! And appreciation of your ingenuity. Hmmm. Which works better, red or white?

Forget mass producing these, I think it is only fitting that you have this one of a kind item.

Truth be told the main part of this handle is made from a red Rioja (Remelluri) and the knob end is from a Champagne cork.

The one of a kind seems to match the reality that each shot is in reality likewise unique.
