thanks Jon for your comments. I did it in the coffee cake with two differently placed sensors in the temp study part 3 one year ago. check it pls.

I've received today some stuff from Switzerland :-). I ordered two towels and received the SS piston for the measures as well :-). I cant wait till I get the the drilled piston rod for the thermocouples. Family is away . It will be a thrilling week end :-))))).

Drilling the piston rod. I'd like to get in the chamber with two sensors (above and below the piston).

This is going to awesome... you're getting some nice readings soon!
It could be as complex or as simple as you want. It's the choice of the barista.

Not that easy :-). We made a special piston rod and customized it for the sensors. It's not completed yet. First readings hopefully this week end.

Running amok with the thermocouples :-)

It's fun to place the thermocouples. I hope it will work out. Any creative ideas regarding measuring/logging pressure in the chamber are welcome.

Magic: getting out the cap

Sensor for the boiler is placed

drilled piston bolt

Sensor measuring water above the piston

Challenge :-) for tommorrow

Yeah, this is great. Looking forward to the results.

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
