Olympia Cremina pressurestat cleaning

Postby robert mayrand on Fri Jan 29, 2010 9:16 pm

I've completely dismantle clean, change all gasket on my cremina, the only part I didn't touch was the pstat. Is there any cleaning that can be done on the pstat. While it's off the machine can I pour citric acid in the tube to be sure there is no scale build up, how long can I leave it in? Can I scrub the intern? is there any fragile internal parts to be careful about? any diagram of the intern parts of the pstat? Thanks for the help. The last part from Switzerland are waiting for me at the post office, can't wait to put everything back together.

I am also interested in whether cleaning the pressurestat is possibly andor desirable.

Thanks
