Olympia Cremina, interesting replacement? pressurestat

Can someone identify this pressurestat? Saw it on a machine recently being offered. Can't think of seeing one like this on a Cremina.

Looks similar to this one which came out of my early '83 Mcal lever - early Ma-ters I think.. I like them because they are solid and repairable but with the low cost of new ma-ters why bother. Ma-ter do make a modern equivalent which looks a bit like it..

Have a look at that big lockable adjusting screw. How things change.

This is another type of p/stat from an Elektra from the same period. It has the unlikely Italian Moniker of "Potter and Brumfield" Milan Italy on the side. They're still in business but I don't think they make p/stats anymore. This one is dead easy to repair if you have the correct membrane handy - about 15 seconds.

And therein endeth the p/stat lesson for today  .

A similar stat is used on Zacconi Riviera also.

I have this one on my '81 MCAL. I was able find a workable replacement material from some scraps from the Orphanage.
Nice old stats.
