hi robert

asbestos is a very evil thing - here in switzerland :D .

i love the cremina too. of corse i have an other in our kitchen. it's colored orange and like the selled one in best condition too. i decided to sell the brown one, because two creminas in one kitchen is too much - especially next to a 2 group e61 and a lot of other faema-gimmicks. i want to keep my wive...

now i have to go to bed - here in CH it's 3:50am and now i need 3 hours before the next espresso :? ...
bye nils

hi andrew

that are good news!
i have to admit, that my english knowledge is not good enough to understand realy what your problem was.
i understand, that there was a problem with the safety switch, but not exactly which problem.

i let the machine on power for 5-6 hours and took 2 or 3 espressi to check the machine > all was ok.
before i sent the machine to you, i repeated this operation to be shure, that all is in best condition > test without problems...

i hope you have unforgettable hours with this bijoux

hi nils, safety switch for my house power...it is designed to shut off all power in the house in case of electricution or fire...here in aus they are extremely sensitive and an overloaded power point may trigger a shut down of power...not your fault nils just an over sensitive power point...
also there might have been moisture inside the machine while shipping, because the tissue paper was wet?any way had two tight espresso so far,nice.... still need time to dial in ginder, distribution and tamp... ill play more on sunday..

ahh ok nice to hear it!
only possibility i think is, that a little bit of water was inside the piston and was condensed in the packet while shipping.
all used papers and plastics were dry, there was no water in it - not one drop.

you can play with the pressure-switch inside the machine too. i think now it's not bad, but you have the possibility to change the temperature with some turns on it.
