The Olympia Cremina is much like the Mercedes Benz diesel.....it invites the DIY'er to do just that, do it yourself. The service you mention seems easily undertaken, a bit of lube on the steam valve o-ring, and you can always just lay the machine on its back, raise the lever, remove the shower screen, and lube her up. The machine is designed to be maintained, even easier is the Elektra MCAL. They made the machine to last forever and part of the equation for longevity is the ease of maintenance.....maybe this is why Olympia Express seems to have no authorized service facilities...they think they don't need them.
