Olympia cremina 67 portafilter - Page 10

Postby espressme on Wed Aug 01, 2007 12:52 pm

Hi Folks,
Time for the "NEWD" PF roadshow!
Today the PF goes to Timmo,
1975 Club and 1992 Cremina, with several generations of Oly baskets, singles and doubles, an Elektra single, and some other baskets that were purported to be Oly baskets.

Next to:
bukaeast:
49mm Pasquini Livietta (rebadged Maximatic)

If you have a different machine, please PM me for a chance in line.
Thanks all!
richard
PS... This is a butt-ugly engineering sample with mistakes and not a finished salable item. It is only shined up enough to make it easy to clean. It is, however enough to test the viability of the real dimensions. 8)

Beautiful work, Richard.

Unqualified success with 1992 Cremina and 1975 Club.

Every basket I own for the Olympia...except the one the elves were hammering.

Regards
Timo

P.S. Since everything worked perfectly, do I still have to paint my baskets with magic marker?

My elves are not slackers...just hamfisted.

I will be sending Richard's naked PF for Olympia espresso machines to the next tester-in-line on Monday morning.

Anyone else who is willing to test the PF, please identify your machine's model and year if you haven't already done so, either here in this thread or via private message to Richard (espressme). Your name will be added to the list if the model/year have not already been accounted for.

Regards
Timo

Hi, everybody,
I've been following your thread about the bottomless portafilter and
would love a chance to try it on my 2 Olympia Creminas... I have a 78
and a 91 cremina with 2 single and 4 double baskets, 1 single is
original and 3 of the doubles I believe are original as well. Please let me
know if i can help and keep me on the list of people interested in
buying one once you move into production!
thanks

Okay
I will give it a whirl. I have a 67 and 86 cremina with about 9 - 10 baskets.

He should have it next Mon. If Timmo shipped it UPS last Mon. I sent an email with the next recipients to him.
