Thanks for sharing. It's unfortunate that the video ends just when he's asking about the price point.

Has anyone heard anything else about this machine such as price? Someone mentioned 6000€ to me but I haven't seen that pricing anywhere. It's supposed to be available in March.

I was just given a price of ~$8,600 USD for the 1 group version of this machine. I like the interesting features but, even if I could afford it, the design isn't appealing enough for me to even consider spending that much.

Yikes. That's steep.

They're positioning it against the Hydra and Slayer. At that price, it would need to have stellar specs: a gear pump with the lever giving good motor speed control, along with a very stable, PIDed double boiler system, and an awesome steam boiler. Moreover, the execution and quality of all these details would have to be vastly better on than their old Mini.

How big can that market really be? Do rich enthusiasts have both a Hydra AND a Slayer? Even $3.5 - $4K seems like it would open things up dramatically to a much wider range of consumers.

I thought they might price it similar to the GS/3 to try and attract a wider audience. I'd prefer a Slayer or a Kees Speedster in that price range.

Well, that is much better than $8,600, but still feels a bit high. I do really like the style, I would have to try it hands on and be very impressed to go in at $5444.77USD
