I only have the two stock baskets and the two Elektra baskets. They all fit fine.

I think the stainless pins are more likely to cause wear to the brass group. Or perhaps they do not contact the group because they are enclosed in brass roller bushings?

Rear pin will be riding on a needle bearing as soon as the bearing gets here (I am thinking Monday). Front one will not be an issue when I go naked.

I took the group head apart to work on the water heating modification.

Noticed that the shower screen that I bought as a spare is different... original shower screen installed, replacement in my hand.

The pull shouldn't be softer with a naked portafilter (like photo below). Pull shouldn't be stronger than 30 lbs. Jack's right, I think. A brass pin is less likely to cause wear in the piston rod.

Is there a need to make any holes to the plug?? My confusion comes from the first cap having two holes... were holes also made to the black cap???

Got my answer from redbone in the other thread. No need for additional holes.
