I came across this thread of andpgud's custom tamper and wanted to share my own:
My Elektra and my custom tamper

The tamper base is custom made from Reg Barber and is made out of brass to match the machine. The handle is a replacement portafilter handle from Stefano's espresso care, completed with the decorative ferrule found at the end of the lever and portafilter handles.

Let me know what you guys think! What is the machine and portafilter coated with to keep it so shiny?
Has anyone done any similar customization?
