Loose boiler on europiccola

Postby Ortholithos on Sat May 29, 2010 12:08 pm

Hello -

I bought a new europiccola about two years ago and the boiler has been loose and getting looser most of the time. It is still usable, but as i am about to replace gaskets etc I feel this is the time to make it good.

Any tips on the operation? I have of course tried tightening the screws that hold it in place, but to no avail. I must bwe missing something???

thanks,
Alex

Also may want to check out this link,http://www.pavoniexpress.com/trouble.html see boiler turns on base. I have found this site to be very useful for trouble shooting La Pavoni's. Just make sure when tightening the plastic flange, newer models after 1997, to be very careful they can break easily. Thomas Cara Ltd also has parts for Pavoni's, I have used them many times, see above link for their contact info. Good luck!! :P
