I'm in the process of restoring a Faema Faemina lever, it was missing a couple of parts, so i thought i'd try here to see if anyone has any ideas.I am missing the drip tray and dispersion screen.As far as i know, neither is available any more.Its possible a dispersion screen from another 51mm home lever may fit? I've tried Orphan espresso (3 times) with no reply.They have supplied gaskets etc so far, but not having any luck with e-mails.

Give the people at Orphan a few days, they are a small operation. They are a good source for Faemina replacement parts as is coffeeparts in Sydney.

I don't think any old 51 mm dispersion screen will work as the Faemina's is a friction fit on the rather unique group head.

Are you missing the top part of the drip tray or the tub? I havent seen the tub available (I am missing that as well) but I imagine there are several generic products out there which will do the job. The top part of the tray is available from OE and could be machined rather easily.

Thanks for that Michael, i'm missing the drip tray tub.I just thought i'd check in case anyone had a spare parts machine lying around.I have made a dispersion screen from a double shot basket i had. I've always had great service from OE when ordering parts that are listed on their site, but when trying to contact them i hardly ever get a reply (i've tried a few times over the past few weeks.)

Just an update in case anyone ever needs these parts in the future, Orphan espresso have replied and let me know neither part is available.They did however have a dispersion screen custom made for a Faemina a while ago.
