You are indeed among a multi -faceted group... check our alchemist's penchant for chocolate( he makes his own, and I mean he really makes it!!)

I think we have a writer in our midst......Trisha?

I'd be a better housekeeper if I didn't write :D

Who knows, someday I may add published author to my demographic. At this rate there's only one million eight hundred thousand words to go, therebouts. And if I don't burn the midnight oil now and then the dustbunnies will have personalities!

hi - i am the owner of the first lever machine which produced a espresso with crema, invented and made by gaggia, the gaggia caffe crema naturale from 1948.
the machine is all original and does not miss the very important cup holder.

if it is possible i would like to get the number 6.

i also own a faema e61 export, which was something like a prototype of a faema e61, a full automatique version of an e61, hydraulic system. this system did not work out as expected therefore faema stopped the production. my machine was reconstructed to semiautomatique and work perfectly.

also i have a faema velox wallmounted lever machine from the sixties, all complete.

also i own a scharf lever machine, a huge machine in the size of a two group machine, but with one lever and a scharf hydromatic piston machine. both scharf have a nice original mustard yellow paint, and a characteristic 70s appearance.

also i own a gaggia duo, a wallmounted hydromatic piston machine. absolutely great technical design and a pendant to the faema velox wallmounted lever machine.

hi - here a photo of the first piston lever machine from 1948, hopefully deserving number 6.
it is a huge and heavy machine. 60cm high, 50cm deep and 50 cm wide, about 70 kg heavy.
it is all original, nearly all parts are stamped with the serial number.
gasfired or electric operated. nothing rechromed, all orginal chrome.
