Well, I've had that espresso coffee on my mind since my cowboyin' days back in '98 and '99.
As you can see I started with a campfire unit that provided a sort of mud that got you on the trail in the morning.
But in this new century I've been on the lookout for a more refined espresso with real Crema.
At first I hooked up with a shiny brass cappuccino Amore orphan.
Loved the patina, but I was a little perplexed by the 68mm filter basket, and was traumatized by the non-functioning thermostat,
but still I was able to pull some decent crema and it steamed like a locomotive, especially at 2 plus bar.
Recently I moved on to a brass and copper Riviera lever machine a that between polishings has provided excellent espresso.
Since I've dropped the cowboy thing I've had the dinero to invest in a la Pavoni Zip grinder and an Expobar Brewtus.
The cowboy to my left always said my shootin' alias should have been "Latte, Jed." ( I was Broncho Charlie).
apologies to Gary Larson
Should I mention the lever actuated Expobar on this forum? I remain committed to levers, but this Brewtus is teaching me a lot.
I hope to see a single group commercial lever in my future.
