Yes indeed, a fitting addition to Vincent's collection. Looking forward to a detailed restoration thread(hint-hint).

This is my first time posting my setup!

It's changed over the years, going from a cheap thermoblock to a Pavoni, only to realize my grinder didn't cut it anymore. I'm now on my third grinder (Mazzer Major-E) and love it! The counter space needs to be upgraded though. I wish it got bigger with the grinder....

The Pavoni has been upgraded with:
Bottomless portafilter (Drill press method on OEM one)
Pressurestat
New handles
Stainless steel drip tray
Single hole steam wand

My newest toy: a Boni Little which is an iteration of the Caravel Ursula/Zerowatt 709. It is ready for use in five minutes and produces an excellent ristretto.

I've disassembled and reassembled my Europiccola around a dozen times since I purchased it about a month ago. This is typically how I clean off all the grease and grinds that may accumulate after a tooling session. My wife just brought to my attention the irony in using one espresso machine to clean the other. She had a chuckle, left the room, and came back with jewelry for me to clean.

Here is my recently acquire Gaggia Achille. This is the most peculiar machine I've ever refurbished, but quite ingenious at the same time. It's an HX lever but the piston does not see hot brew temperature water. It acts as a pump, drawing water from the upper reservoir, and into and out of the HX, and then into the group. A very curious and unique specimen!

The envy of many I suspect! A 58mm manual lever, is that right?
How does it perform? Rumoured of being vulnerable to leaks, I vaguely recall...

Performs great! Yes it has a commercial weight and size portafilter, at 58mm. No leaks of any kind. A bunch of little orings might need replacement from time to time to ensure that. Piston seals right off a La pavoni. Cool machine!
