The current gallery. The Faemina is a daily driver.

My luck brought me this (essentially unused):

Max nice Eurobar.
That's on my want to try list but I've never seen one here in the wild.
Looking forward to your feedback. Is that a 1st or 2nd gen ?
Between order and chaos there is espresso.

Thank you! It even has a nice backstory... but that will have to wait for its own thread. I think I will anyway create one to receive some feedback on restoration details.

It doesn't fit into Francesco's 1st/2nd gen boxes: 2nd gen water/steam pipe arrangement, but 1000 W element. In fact, the element is marked '79.
Moreover, it has the front lever for refilling water if it's plumbed in.

Very nice, looking forward to the thread. Think being on the continent helps with the luck. Having machines shipped to this side of the pond is usually the deal killer.

The group on a Eurobar is always 2nd gen group set up as a thermosiphon for temperature stability, and there are first and second versions. I wonder if it is transitional between first and second versions because of the water tap, the element and the badge? Here's Francesco's page.

One of our members didn't want to pay the price of this rare collectible and just finished a thermosiphon La Pavoni of his own. I saw the machine in process last week.

Ciao everybody,
I have the honor and privilege to pursue Rod's project.
Possible to restore Eterna Scapolla Luigi espresso machine?

And with the benevolence of my friend David aka Cuppajoe who did not outbid ..

Unfortunately there is a bump during the trip. I hope I can fix it.
