hello, people of the lever coffee machines, I just bought a machine thinking it was a "La Peppina" but when I opened the parcel I discovered with surprise that tha brand is "CELP"

Image

the mark engraved under the base (FE-AR) was removed before painting and remained only the dash (-)

Image

the lever is curved and the handles are like those of the "Europiccola" old model

anyone knows give me some information on the brand?

Thanks
Francesco

We are just as curious as you.
Maybe CELP means Caffe Express La Peppina.

Hi everyone, here's my brand new (at least I just got it...) La Pavoni Europiccola.
Image
As you can see it's a bit of a Frankenstein, since the machine itself is from 1995-2000 (can't really know the exact year since there's no info), while the portafilter is from the '60, and the drip tray is missing...
I think it's in decent (exterior) conditions, but... There's always a but: it's leaking.
In fact, when on, lever down, after sometime water start dropping from the shower. And I don't mean some drops, but a lot of them.
So here the question: at the present time I'm in Amsterdam (well, Diemen Zuid to tell the truth) and I need to find someone who can check it and hopefully repair it (I think it also needs new gaskets). Can any Amsterdamer help me, suggest someplace where I can take my little baby. I really hope so because I'd love to use it a bit more than only 1 coffee...
Thanks in advance

Your best bet is probably ESW, which is located in The Hague. A 45 minute trip without traffic jams.

If only I had a car... I'm an exchange student, so that may be a bit too much to get there I fear. But thanks anyway :)
