Not usually a fan of orange, although that pops pretty good.
That cup color would have been sweet too.

Being dutch I am a long time avid stiff coffee drinker.
Having in the late seventies/eighties been to my gf's family in Italy for summer holidays, got to know espresso relatvely early
Having lived in the south of Andalucia for the past 15 years, espresso has become a pivotal aspect of my daily life.
Bought a 1974 Europiccola totally refurbisched by Francesco Ceccareli for home use.
The grinder is a DeMoka GR203.
Water comes from a Brita.
There máy be second machine coming. I am negotiating a 1974 Picola.
No, no spelling error. It was made by Marcfi under license from La Pavoni. It uses many parts from La Pavoni such as the entire group but the mounting to the boiler, the boiler itself and the electrics are improved the same way La Pavoni would incorporate later.
Fingers crossed. Both about the deal coming off ánd about the resident female not blowing her top....

I think there is some rule against only having one lever but she may not fall for that...they rarely do. Great looking '74.

Yes, the rule of levers is: once you have one, you must have many!

That 'rule' actually applies to a wide variety objects of enjoyment. In this case I was on thin ice with the first one allready because it takes up kitchen space and the grind is not much appreciated either.
I can write 'was'; past tense, though, because both mother and son are very keen to make me cup. A mixed blessing
