Here is Francesco Ceccarelli's latest find, what may be the very first ancestor of the La Pavoni Europiccola, called a Nea Lux. This machine is dated September 1958 and predates the Caferina and D.P.
The discussion thread is here, including a link to its description on his site, with more photos.

What's with all the Pavonis being posted recently? Don't get me wrong, I love it, but it does seem to be a tidal wave.

La Pavoni's are a lot of fun! My first lever machine was a La Pavoni and I had a blast ( sometimes literally ) learning how to make espresso lol. I've since grown into my Olympia Cremina, but i'll always remember my first lever machine. ;D
Wine is fine but coffee is divine!

haha, Pavoni is awesome:) even though I havent pulled a good tasting shot yet, I have lots of crema...but dont worry, I will never give up until consistent success, even if I have to save up for the whole year to get an HG One to make it happen (at least it will give me an excuse to get what I really want )
