I'm in the process of rebuilding my la peppina, the disassembly went ok. I'm having it all powder coated and chromed and I was wondering if there are any parts that shouldn't be coated. Thanks

The inner part of the kettle shouldn't be powdercoated, or indeed any part that gets wet.
I had it powdercoated and it came off. I'm not sure what a good way to protect the inner of the kettle is, so far a smattering of JB waterweld seems to hold up.

I'm having the kettle ceramic coated. I was wondering more about the inside of the base and where the heating element sits

Yes, that part where the heating element sits was what I meant to indicate.

the plater will be copper plating the whole piece before the chrome, I was thinking of leaving the part where the element it copper plated

i know some users have powdercoated their peppinas, just wondering if you guys used special powder coat (food safe) or just regular??

heres the what im going with:
the silver is for the group, spring and whatever else what chrome

the dark hammered is for the base

and im doing the kettle white on the inside and green on the outside, that pic doesnt do the green justice
