Hoping to get it back any day now. Can't wait. No I just used regular powder coat, I don't think it gets hot enough to do anything

still waiting for the powder coater but i just got an email back from a company and i could have had the entire kettle and "brew group" teflon coated for $140 canadian. so if i have any issues with the powder i will send it to them and have only the internals coated should run me well under $100

and here she is all back together. I put all new gaskets and seals hat I got from orphan but the one way valve is acting up when the machine is up to temp but works fine when cold????? any suggestions

The one way in the group or in the cylinder or do you know?

I remember playing with the tightness of the screw on the washer in the group for the best dispersion. Too tight and the washer wouldn't be fully flat causing some issues.

Pretty sure it's the cylinder, if I let the leaver up really fast it'll "catch" and extract an espresso

Nice build. You need to make sure the flapper valves (washers) are flat. If you over tighten them you'll experience problems. You want the screws snug but not to the point of distorting the washer.
