La Pavoni Triple Basket (49mm elektra)

Hi,

Just ordered an elektra basket from orphan espresso for my La Pavoni's newly minted bottomless portafilter.

I'm just wondering if anyone here has any experience with this combo. Do you notice increased shot volume? If so, by how much? I'd love to be able to make some true double shots...maybe even larger (I can dream).

I must say I find it to be a bit of an overdose even on the Cremina.. not sure how well it's going to work out on the Pavoni with it's much lower shot volume if you're planning to still fill it to the top so it touches the brew-shower-head. You could of course fill it lower if you can avoid channeling.
