Just thought I would give a shout out to Gabor in Hungary for his terrific Portafilter. While I can't say it is inexpensive, it is worth every penny. I can now use a proper double shot basket and can see the terrific crema my Pavoni is putting out. Thanks Gabor! A very happy customer here.

I have one of Gabor's naked portafilters for the Caravel and it really is a beautiful piece. It also fits Ponte Vecchio baskets after trimming the lips of the filter basket. I'm probably going to buy the pre-millenium portafilter for my Ater Family as it should fit. The portafilters are not cheap, but really well made.
