Hi,
Can anyone advise me on how I can remove the rings with a snap ring plier. I watched OE videos but can't find a plier like that at the big box stores. Is there an alternative way? I'm just looking to do a maintenance cleanup on the group.
Thank you.

Auto parts store or online, and it is called an 'external snap ring plier'. There are versions that work with both external or internal rings.

For external you squeeze the handles to open the jaws. Insert jaws and squeeze. A small screw driver or probe used on the side opposite the opening will help get it off without chewing up the chrome.

Thank cuppajoe! Will go pick one up. On a side note do you know if the only way to remove shower screen on the 67 is to remove the two pins then knocking it out? I saw the OE video but was curious if there was another way.

I bought the Irwin snap-ring pliers from Amazon for my Olympia Cremina for $8.72 delivered. The small ones work like a charm.

Had ruined several snap rings prior.

just use a utility knife and pry the first hole under neat and work around carefully.

Just ordered one of those from Amazon. Thanks for sharing genecounts. Need to put together a Cremina tool kit bag :).

One should post the list of tools, but Orphan Espresso covers it well:

I busted my last set of snap ring pliers, tip broke off one, I just ordered a new set as well. Thanks!
