How to drain Bezzera Strega boiler

I just sold my Strega and I was curious as to how to drain my boiler prior to shipping. I would appreciate the help.

Some of the holes at the top of the boiler are too narrow for a regular hose. Open up the steam valve, and the normal sized espresso machine hoses can be used to siphon out the boiler.

It also turns out that you can get almost all the water out by letting the machine get up to pressure, turning it off, and opening up the hot water tap. Once you do this, only about 150 mL of water will be left.
