Help! What is the thread size of La Pavoni Pro pressure gauge?

Postby espressme on Tue Feb 12, 2008 6:02 pm

I hope someone out there knows what thread size the LaPav Professional pressure gauge is. What size should I tap to make a screw on adapter for a Cremina boiler? I already have the tap for the Cremina end .
Thanks
Sincerely
Richard/espressme
Edit:
The gauge is already purchased by a friend overseas and I need to make a adapter part for it.

if this HB- Member is right and i understand it correctly, it would be a 3/8" thread.

edit: what an embarrasing answer, my apologies for being such a dilletant ;)

Richard,
The pressure gauge is I believe 1/8 BSPP. I bought the fitting from Mcmaster Carr for the retrofit on my C Lever project. If you are coming from over the site glass it is a 1/4 BSPP male to 1/8 BSPP female adapter. The threads for the Pavoni gauge are tight but it is a secure fit with some pipe sealant.

Also, I just received an email from Bangkok, Thailand by Stephano Cremonesi of Stephano's Saying 1/8 BSPP. Guess who is going to get some of my business in the future! :D
Many thanks to all who replied!

Just a quick warning, it is a tight fit.
