Help identifying this lever espresso machine

Postby eiseley on Mon Sep 01, 2008 1:16 pm

I have what I think is a Riviera Espresso Copper/Brass machine. I found no identifying markings except for a metal tag on the right side reading "Faema Sales Corporation, 450 W. 44th ST., NEW YORK, N.Y. 10036, TEL" (212) 757-9433" ... Written vertically on either side of the label is "MADE IN ITALY" ... The finial shown is mine, not the original (eagle?). I have attached several images and would appreciate any information this group can provide. Thank you, Eiseley

Definitely Riviera all the way. First copper finish old model that has popped up for a while. Nice touch on the finial by the way!

I had a Riviera just like yours. Originally it came from Thomas Cara in San Francisco. Very nice machine! If you'll look at the Lever Machine Gallery post you'll see a photo on the first or second page.
I wasn't born in Texas, but got here as fast as I could!
