What a cool article- have fun walking down memory lane!

I found the link to this on alt.coffee. It looks fuzzy but you can click it open and zoom- it is a more comprehensive article than I have seen in a major newspaper in awhile!

Olympia placed #1 and #4 in the rankings-- Pavoni is "acceptable" at #11 :wink:

It shows some great machines and some odd ones! Too bad the next page of descriptions is not included. The MiniGaggia just missed making the front page!Prices on some big favorites here and ranks some well know names like Olympia, MiniGaggia , SAMA and Riviera.. La Pavoni--
FYI- It doesn't include Elektra Microcasa a Leva yet- they didn't make it to production till about 1980 - I think...

The Cremina was around 200$ and in the same range as the Europiccola - those were the times!
